Looking for a qualified practitioner?

Osteopathy is not yet a regulated profession, so you need to make sure the person you choose is qualified. At the moment even being in an association or accepted by extended insurance doesn’t guarantee the practitioner has the required education.

If you’re unsure, check they are a member of the Ontario Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners, or that their osteopathic education was a minimum of 4 years (part-time and full-time), and they had a prior health background if part-time.
